My name is Jacob King, I fell in love with the game of basketball at five years old. In the fifth grade, I decided to pursue my ultimate dream of becoming a college basketball player. As a player, my keys to success came from a strong basketball IQ, relentless work ethic, and striving to be the most skilled player on my team. I played at Trinity High School where I was voted a team captain, 7th Region All-Tournament Team recipient, voted the #1 player in the 7th region for the 2016-17 season, and I also hold the school record for most assists in a season. I played with 3 NBA players, Raymond Spalding, Jay Scrubbs, and David Johnson. I accepted a full-ride scholarship to play at Campbellsville University. At Campbellsville, I was honored to be a recipient of the Mid-South Conference Champion of Character award, a 3-year member of the All-Academic Team, and a two-time team captain. I recently finished my role as the Graduate Assistant for Campbellsville Men’s Basketball in charge of their skill development. I strive to put a smile on every player’s face, give them an edge on the court, and help be a catalyst for their growth and confidence as a person. Ready to get after it?!
